R.I.P June Foray

The Queen of Cartoon Voices exited the planetJune Foray in 1952 after 99 fun and exciting years.

If you grew up watching cartoons, you probably know the voice(s) of the gifted voice artist June Foray.

New England native June Lucille Forer started doing voice work before she entered her teens and can be heard on contemporary fare including The Simpsons.

At just over four-feet in height, the diminutive June had talent as big as a mountain.

Below is a sampling of her voice talents:

She was preceded by her late husband Hobart Donavan, the head writer on radio’s The Buster Brown Program, who departed in the mid-1970’s.

She will be missed.
