R.I.P. Trapper John

Fellow Veteran (US Navy) William Wayne McMillan Rogers III exited the planet after 82 years. Born in Birmingham Alabama and educated at Princeton University and Neighborhood Playhouse in New York, Rogers is best known as Trapper John McIntyre in the television series M*A*S*H.

Post-M*A*S*H, Rogers had a number of roles (including filling in as Tony Nelson in an I Dream of Jeannie television movie). His most lucrative role was as a stock trading investor with numerous appearance on Fox News. He leaves behind his wife Amy, his children Bill and Laura from his first marriage to actress Mitzi McWhorter, and four grandchildren: Alexander, Daniel, William and Anais.
