The Simpsons Meet Family Guy

You knew it was only a matter of time…

Family Guy and The Simpsons are the two most outrageous prime time cartoons ever. Picking up on standard set by Bill Hanna and Joseph Barbera with The Flintstones, creators Seth McFarlane and Matt Groening (respectively), have pushed the envelope in directions that were destined to converge.

Simpsons Family Guy Crossover

In this crossover episode, entitled The Simpsons Guy, the Griffin family takes a road trip that lands them in Springfield. Homer Simpson welcomes his new “albino” friends with open arms. The story progresses, paring up characters from each show:

  • Peter with Homer
  • Marge with Lois
  • Stewie with Bart
  • Meg with Lisa

Most of the characters bond over their similarities. But not Peter and Homer, who go to war over their favorite beers: Duff and Pawtucket beer.

Simpsons castmembers Dan Castellaneta, Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright, Yeardley Smith and Hank Azaria will lend their voices to the one-hour special episode… scheduled for broadcast in September of this year.
